Record Year in 2009-2010!!!
*92% of Success Program students graduated in four years (one of the highest % in the county)
*For the second year in a row, 99% of the entire freshman class at L.C. Bird will be promoted to 10th grade
*Success Program SOL scores are as high (or higher) than any school in Chesterfield County (including 94% Geometry pass rate)
*A record number of 187 freshmen were enrolled in the Success Program
*Nearly 400 students participated in the Success Program this year
*Over 140 Success Program students enrolled in this summer's Jumpstart to Success Program
*The SOL pass rate for Jumpstart to Success was an amazing 96%
*160 Success Program students volunteered to participate in this summer's Community Service Outreach Program

The Success Program would like to thank Mr. Gus Velanis for his countless hours of volunteer math tutoring. Gus Velanis is the major reason our students typically have some of the highest math SOL scores in the entire State of Virginia.
