
Success students donated $500 of toys to the MCV Children's Medical Center for the second year

Viginia Victory Games 2011

On Saturday, March 5th, 33 Success Program students volunteered to assist disabled athletes participating in the Virginia Victory Games


Over 30 Success Program students volunteered to assist the PTA's Carnival at Bellwood Elementary (a Title I feeder school)

On Feb 2nd, over 600 Success Program students from L.C. Bird, Meadowbrook, Matoaca and James River High Schools attended a special presentation from Susan Tom (featured in the HBO documentary, My Flesh and Blood)

For the second year, 35 Success students volunteered to assist disabled athletes at the Victory Games. During the opening ceremonies, Success Program students presented the Victory Games with a check for $500!!!! The amount was entirely fundraised by the students.

2009 Richmond Philanthropist and the son of the late Thomas Cannon; Thomas Cannon Jr visited the Success Program to discuss his father's book. With Mr. Cannon are current and former members of the Thomas Cannon Committee. In remembrance of the late Thomas Cannon, the committee has awarded $2,000 to local individuals
All Success Program students read "The Poor Man's Philanthropist" as part of its Character Education curriculum.

2007 Performance by the In For Life sponsored by the Success Program

Congratulations to the Success Program Robotics Team. They placed in the top half during the University of Virginia Robotics Competition. There were over 50 teams from all over the east coast. The Success Program would like to thank Nancy Hoover and Beth Teigen for their guidance and support.

Success students give guest speaker, Susan Tom, a standing ovation at a surprise visit in 2008. Susan Tom was the center of a HBO documentary titled , My Flesh and Blood.
